Submitting a Chapter of your Thesis to your Advisor & Honors
Sometimes the hardest part of working on the written portion of your thesis is just getting started. For May graduates; during the fall of your senior year, you'll send just a single draft chapter to your Honors thesis coordinator. For December graduates, you'll send your draft chapter in September. You'll find this is helpful in just getting your writing kickstarted!
What happens after I submit?
Your advisor will receive a copy of your chapter, and you should follow up with them for feedback they may have. Getting feedback at this point is a great way to keep up the writing momentum on your project.
Submitting Drafts of your Thesis to your Advisor & Honors
For May graduates: In early spring of your senior year, you'll submit a rough draft of your written thesis to both your advisor and to Honors. For December graduates, you'll submit your draft in late November. This is to ensure you are on track to finish your thesis, and also to make sure you are collaborating with your advisor on your thesis.
