Orange Seeds: The Big Event

The Big Event, Syracuse University’s largest student-run community service event, will take place on April 11th. Check-in begins at 10:30 AM at Hendricks Chapel, and service projects will run until about 4:00 PM.

Students will be volunteering with community organizations across Syracuse, including:

• Rescue Mission – Thrifty Shopper
• Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)
• SU Pete’s Giving Garden
• Thornden Park
• YWCA
• Westcott Community Center
• Mary Nelson Youth Day Foundation
• Rosamond Gifford Zoo
• Habitat for Humanity
• McMahon Ryan Center
• The Samaritan Center
• Brady Farm
• Salvation Army

This is a great opportunity to earn civic engagement hours, get involved on campus, and give back to the Syracuse community.
