This award enhanced my semester abroad experience. I was studying in London, England which also included trips to Scotland, Prague, and Spain. Through my studies, I was immersed in the London infrastructure which allowed me to dive deeper into city architecture in Europe. I deeply enjoyed the easy access to traveling the rest of Europe and making memories with my friends.

I was excited to experience the leisurely experience while eating out at restraunts. People are much more rushed in the states but it was enjoyable to sit and talk at dinner for much longer while abroad.

This experience allowed me to travel to new places which would not have been as easily possible, providing me with opportunities to envision myself working in the future. I was also exposed to sustainability practices in Europe which could be compared to building in the states.

I plan to scrapbook my experience and pair it with the journal I am doing as an honors contract course.

This award allowed me with more opportunities to explore new places and try new foods or experiences. Without this aid, I would have had significant less money available to really get the most out of my time in Europe.
