Artificial Intelligence and the Future of the Humanities: A Lunch Conversation
Join us for a lunch on April 23rd from 12:30-1:50 PM in Bowne 306D with Dr. Jordan Loewen-Colon, guest lecturer and author of a forthcoming book titled “Reality Technologies: The Promises and Problems of Tech Culture.” Dr. Loewen-Colon is an Assistant Professor at Queens College, and his research focuses on AI, ethics and policy. Over food provided by Honors we’ll speak about AI ethics and the future of the humanities in the age of AI.
Additionally, Dr. Loewen-Colon will present a guest lecture titled “Artificial Opportunity: Why Universities are Doomed, but the Humanities Could Save Us”, organized by the Department of Religion and the Humanities Center, in Maxwell 204 on April 22nd at 4 PM.
