Walter ’20 and Baist ’22 Show Film at ESOTA Conference
In October, Honors alumni Kylie Walter ’20 and Olivia Baist ’22 (with Dr. Beth Myers and Dr. Christy Ashby, School of Education), presented their film, And They Were Roommates: Navigating Inclusive Mentorship in Higher Education, at the European State of the Art (ESOTA) conference in Austria, held by Salzburg University of Education Stefan Zweig. The film serves as a tool to initiate conversations about real student experiences and perspectives in Inclusive Higher Education. They presented on decisions regarding support for inclusive education and Syracuse University’s response to inclusion at the conference’s keynote session.
