Inside the Jewelry Box with Laura Marsolek ’13, G’15

Honors alumna, Laura Marsolek ’13 will be hosting a master class on jewelry making on Friday October 29, as part of the Orange Central 2021 programming. Laura is a metalsmith, gemologist, and art historian who currently works in the fine jewelry department of a Southern auction house, Heritage Auctions. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Kosovo and a curatorial research assistant at Mehrangarh Museum Trust in India. In this master-style class, she will share her experiences studying and collaborating with artisans in Europe and Asia.
There will be two in-person sessions held in 032 Eggers Hall.
Session I – 2-2:45 p.m.
Session II – 3:15-4 p.m.
