Professor Western has taught the honors courses Critical Issues for the US and American Diversity & Unity. Professor Western served as a member of the honors core faculty. He is Maxwell Professor of Teaching Excellence; Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professor for Teaching Excellence; and Robert D. McClure Professor of Teaching Excellence in the Geography Department at the Maxwell School. Professor Western’s support of the Honors Program and of students will always be remembered.
