Deanna Payson, senior Honors student, has been busy for the last year coordinating the first-ever “Life Gets Better Together” conference for LGBT youth advocacy.  It will take place on March 24th in the Newhouse school, and will feature a day of workshops, a keynote panel, and an a cappella concert to benefit The Trevor Project.  There are a wealth of interesting educational workshops, and the keynote panel on representations of LGBTQ youth in politics & the media will feature two high-profile outside speakers (media relations expert Cathy Renna and NYS Assembly Member Daniel O’Donnell) in addition to Dr. Brenda Wrigley of the PR department in Newhouse.
