Studying abroad was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to learn about cultures all around the world. Immersing myself in Italian culture was amazing and taught me a lot about myself as well as the world. Having the opportunity to travel around Europe was also an important part of the educational experience, and I gained independence while exploring new places. The classes I took in Italy were also incredibly eye-opening as they taught me more about the history and importance of the city of Florence. Overall, this experience was incredibly educational and a highly influential part of my life.

While many things about living abroad were unexpected, the biggest thing was how different but wonderful it can be living in a new place. Moving across the world is a big change and while there is a lot to learn, I found that I enjoyed it more than I had expected. With the move came new independence and adventure that I would not have had the opportunity to experience in regular life.

Through my experiences abroad I gained lots of insight into life overseas. Having lived in Italy for a couple of months, I think that moving abroad for some period of time would be a great experience and allow me to nurture the sense of adventure that Europe gave me.
