Teaching experience in General Chemistry, lecture and lab, as well as Organic Chemistry. Teaching experience at multiple levels, community college, small private college, and large institutions like Syracuse University.

Research/Creative Interests

Teaching primarily large introductory lecture courses, I am interested in developing ways to interact with and engage all students in the learning process. I also understand the learning is not limited to the classroom so I have worked on developing content that can be accessed on demand for students to work on the material, outside of class, on their own pace.

Teaching Interests

I primarily teach introductory General Chemistry sequence at Syracuse. I enjoy teaching General Chemistry because I often get to work with students in their first college science course, which can be daunting for many students. I am there to help and work with those students to show them that college level science, chemistry in particular, is not impossible!
