Thinking about your Capstone already and wishing you could work on it over the summer? Or maybe you have another research project you’ve started.

The Syracuse University Student Association (SA) is partnering with the Office of Research and the Office of Academic Affairs to provide stipends to support undergraduate students to conduct research over the summer. Students will be selected on a competitive basis to pursue a mentored research experience under the guidance of distinguished SU professors over a period of 10 weeks.

This program includes a $1,000 research stipend and access to the University libraries and labs. Furthermore, the program is open to rising sophomores, juniors or seniors. Applicants should not have received any other grants, stipends or scholarships to conduct research over the summer. Additionally, prior to applying, interested students should contact their professor to inquire if they are willing to provide mentorship to a student research intern for the summer.

Applications are due on the 20th of April by 6:00 pm.
