My experience in London was not just phenomenal; it also changed my life. Throughout my studies, I felt like I had developed a part of myself that I never knew existed. I traveled every chance I had, and I wish I could have traveled more because I used my learning experience within the classroom. My experience was tough at times due to chronic fatigue, but the beauty both in and around the city took all of the physical pain away. I learned to become more of an adult as well, and I learned many life lessons.

I have a physical disability, and I was not expecting to have an easier time finding accessible transportation in London than anywhere in the United States. There was not only a better system, but I felt like I had more dignity due to how I was treated over there. I want to use my experiences I had within London, the United Kingdom and Europe to influence my Honors Capstone project. I want to focus my work on the Americans with Disabilities Act, and how the “holes” cause harm to young adults. Then, compare the same struggles with the Equality Act in the UK. I also hope to learn within the United Kingdom, work there, and hopefully become a citizen over time.
