Valentine’s Day Craft & Civic Volunteering
The Renée Crown University Honors Program invites you to celebrate Valentine’s Day with creativity, connection, and community impact at our Valentine’s Day Craft and Civic Volunteering event.
Join fellow Honors students on Friday, February 13 for a cozy afternoon of crafting and snacks in 306 Bowne Hall from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. Together, we’ll create Valentine’s-themed crafts while spending time with friends and meeting new members of the Honors community. No crafting experience is needed—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm.
Want to take it a step further? From 1:00–3:00 PM, students can participate in a civic volunteering opportunity by helping deliver the handmade crafts to local nursing homes, spreading warmth and kindness beyond campus. Transportation will be provided through Honors vans accompanied by Honors staff.
This event is a wonderful way to unwind, connect, and make a meaningful difference, whether you join us for crafting, volunteering, or both. Students who donate their crafts and/or deliver will be allowed to submit their time present for civic hours.
Registration is required for both the events.
All skill levels are welcome, just bring your creativity!
We hope to see you there as we celebrate Valentine’s Day by creating something special and sharing it with the community.
