Applications for the 2025 Junior Resident Fellows Program (JRFP) are now open! JRFP is a six-week program that invites undergraduate or recent graduate students from Cambodia, France and the United States to experience a fellowship that provides hands-on learning about Cambodian history, culture, and society alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. Participants will engage in classroom sessions, cultural field trips, and real-world research projects that deepen their understanding of contemporary Cambodia and Southeast Asia. The program will run from July 7th to August 15th, 2025, at the Center for Khmer Studies campus in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Applicants must be:

  • Undergraduate or recent graduate students from the United States, France, or Cambodia
  • In their final two years of study (or recently graduated)
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Interested in Cambodian studies or Southeast Asian culture, history, and society
