Amelia Thibault

I am researching the accessibility of Urban Green Spaces in Philadelphia. This is to understand why certain neighborhoods have unequal access to UGS and how they became this way. I am using a combination of archival research and GIS to complete this project. My hope is that it will shed light on the importance of UGS and why they are so valuable to the quality of life of all people.

One thing that was surprising was how my research questions have developed over this process so far. The more I have researched, the more my question had changed and adapted. This research work will also be part of my Geography distinction project.
