Honors Core Faculty Share Their Research Experiences

Honors core faculty held research talks with first year students in Sadler Hall from Monday October 4th through Thursday October 7th. The research talks set the stage for the research fair, as faculty shared their professional journeys with first year students. They discussed their early explorations of many different ideas, to be able to identify their own interests. Faculty shared about their unique processes of generating research questions, and how research is constantly evolving.  Their work demonstrates how exploration of different themes at early stages of academic work can provide a setting to identify individual strengths and to develop unique research paths. The faculty encouraged students to master foundational material in their fields, to investigate different ideas and ask different questions, and to embrace their own unique ways of thinking and exploring.
