Please join the 2015-16 Remembrance and Lockerbie Scholars as they remember all those lost in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, and act forward in their honor.
October 25-30 marks Remembrance Week 2015 and the Scholars are hosting many events throughout the week, including
- A Candlelight Service on Sunday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel
- Screening of the documentary, “My Brother’s Bomber” by Ken Dornstein, Monday, October 26 at 7 pm in Slocum Hall Auditorium
- “Terrorism in the Internet Age” – a panel discussion with Bill Banks (Law), Sean O’Keefe (Maxwell) and Brian Semann (iSchool) on Tuesday, October 27, 7 pm in 500 Hall of Languages
- A Day of Service on Wednesday, October 28th. Among the many projects the Scholars are undertaking, Insomnia Cookies will donate 10% of all purchases to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Remembrance
- A Celebration of Life performance program on Thursday, October 29th at 7 pm in Panasci Lounge, Schine Student Center
- And the annual Rose Laying and Remembrance Convocation ceremonies on Friday, October 30th
- Rose Laying – 2 p.m. at the Place of Remembrance
- Convocation – 3:30 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel
