Finding Yourself in the Archives: Honors Workshop with Jana Rosinski, Librarian, Special Collections Research Center (SCRC)
Join Librarian Jana Rosinski on March 4 from 5:15-6:35 PM in the Special Collections Research Center on the 6th floor of Bird Library for an Honors Workshop introducing you to the world of archives and special collections.
History is created every day through ordinary human experiences. Ideas are transformed into books, letters carry stories between people, photographs capture fleeting moments, and inventions begin as simple thoughts before becoming reality. Culture is continually shaped and reshaped through these lived experiences, and the historical record is made up of countless voices, including yours.
Engaging with primary sources allows us to explore and question historical evidence while discovering the many ways people have communicated, documented their lives, and preserved personal memories across time.
Please register in advance for this event.
