The second volume of The Crown spotlights multi-disciplinary research work by Honors students 

We are excited and proud to announce the release of the 2025 edition of The Crown: Syracuse Honors Research Journal. The student editors and contributors alike have worked hard to bring this publication to life, with articles on topics ranging from education policy, computer programming, and earth science to fashion studies. 

The full journal content is available online on SURFACE (surface.syr.edu/thecrown), and contributors can pick a printed copy in the Honors suite (306 Bowne Hall) after the winter break.

The Crown is edited and published by students in the Honors course HNR 340: Producing a Research Journal.
