2025 Goon Squad Registration
Registration to join the 2025 Goon Squad is now open! Since 1944, Goon Squad has been a beloved Syracuse University tradition—welcoming new students with energy, Orange pride, and helping hands as they move into their residence halls and begin their SU journey.
Responsibilities:
- Attend a required Goon Squad training on Sunday, August 17th, 2025, from 7-8 pm in Hendricks Chapel.
- Welcome new students, families and supporters to campus.
- Help new students move into their residence halls.
Students who volunteer with the Goon Squad get an early move-in date of Sunday, August 17th for their University housing, receive 3 hours of community service and 1 meal ticket per volunteer shift, and get lots of free swag!
