Former Chancellor of DC Public Schools Michelle Rhee will be visiting Syracuse virtually.

Rhee is known for her bold education reform initiatives and will be visiting an HNR360 class virtually on March 17 at 5:15 pm.

During her tenure from 2007 to 2010, Rhee implemented controversial policies aimed at improving school performance, including closing underperforming schools and changing teacher evaluation systems. This Zoom session offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with a significant figure in education policy and hear her perspectives on current challenges in public education.
