Mel Lin

My internship over the summer was mostly remote, but I had the opportunity to travel to a set and film with the company for a day over the summer. When I went on my trip, I explored a street in New York, took a lot of pictures, and tried food at a really good pizza place and Yemeni Cafe. I even saw the coolest person ever playing guitar on a pier, and I left with a lot of good memories and material for future projects. 

On my trip, I was shocked to learn both tiny and significant things. For instance, Bedford Street and Bedford Ave are different streets in New York! But more importantly, if I find someone cool on the street, I should at least try to ask for their social media because that’s how networking works. I plan to record the memories from my trip in my journal/sketchbook.
