The 2017 Hult Prize competition

Concept of security. Silhouette of refugee men and metal fence with barbed wire on the background of night sky

Syracuse University is hosting its first ever Hult Prize competition. Hult Prize is the world’s largest student competition dedicated to encouraging social entrepreneurship. Teams of students (Undergrad, Grad, and PhD) are challenged to solve the biggest problems facing the global community through innovative ideas for sustainable start-up enterprises.  Five teams from around the world will pitch their idea at the 2017 Clinton Global Initiative and the winning group will be awarded $1 million in seed funding to turn their idea into a reality. This year, participants are tasked to address the global refugee crisis.
