A fellow Honors student is helping to organize a workshop in which women should be interested.

Start Smart is a salary negotiation workshop aimed at empowering women to negotiate against the gender wage gap when they leave college and enter the work place. Studies show that the gender wage gap actually begins during the first job, and it’s incredibly important that college women are being prepared and educated on what they need to do to avoid it.

This great event will be coordinated by Mary Holland, a trained professional from the American Association of University Women.

Tuesday, April 12th

5-7pm

Schine 304 ABC

A workshop fee of $5 will be returned when you attend the event. Only 40 students are able to attend the workshop and we want to make sure that the space is secured.
