Changes abound in Honors!

Part of our mission here in Honors is to provide our students (that’s you) with the information and tools you need to navigate the program successfully.  Along with the recent changes in our web site, you will notice that many of our forms and processes are moving online.   You can now submit your civic engagement hours through our web site, and send us the signature of your site supervisor.

Why are we doing this?

Because the information you submit goes straight into our database, and onto your progress report. No changing hands. No lost forms. Just reliable, safe, secure, backed up data.

Here’s how it works:

(1) Fill out your Civic Engagement information through the website.  After you submit you’ll get a copy via email.

(2) Print out your copy. Take it to your civic site supervisor and have them comment and sign in the fields at the end of the form.

(3) Scan the commented and signed portion either with a scanner, or take a picture with your smartphone.

(4) Return the signature image via our signature upload tool on the web site. If you do not have any way of scanning or can’t take a picture of the signature, bring it into Honors and our work study will scan it for you.

 Want more details?

We’ve put together a brief handout of how it all works here.

After reviewing it, if you have more questions? Contact Blythe or Vicky via email.
