Students enjoyed a wonderful lunch and conversation about writing with Kim van Alkemade (author of Orphan #8 and Bachelor Girl) last week, an Honors Footnote event organized by Professor Eileen Schell. It was a lively discussion about the compelling stories that can emerge from historical research as well as the challenges of writing and editing.
