Ben Cleeton (PC ’15) used his 2014 Crown-Wise funding to travel to China and Ghana. A photojournalism student completing a Capstone entitled, “Diaspora Times Two: A Photo Essay”, which will be comprised of a photographic study of Africans living in Guangzhou, China and Chinese living in Accra, Ghana. Ben left on his travels shortly after the end of the 2014 semester. Back from his travels, Ben’s amazing photos will be exhibited in a gallery show July 11-August 22, 2014 in the 1570 Gallery at Valley Manor Apartments. The opening reception is Friday, July 11, 6:30 – 8:30. If you are in the area, come out to see the exciting work Ben is creating for his Capstone.
