Charles Gebbia

The Crown Award gave me the opportunity to explore the printing process while designing my book, which lends itself to an entirely new level of design. Without it I would have been confined to the digital but now I will have a physical product to document all of my work. 

I wasn’t expecting all of the different nuances and differences different printers could offer, and it was great to have the ability to quote multiple and learn what those differences could be. 

Using these physical prints as evidence I look forward to shopping the book I produced for my thesis around to possible publishers. Having the artifact with me will greatly help in this endeavor.
