Meet Crown Wise Award winner, Erica Clapp (PC ’14). Erica has monitored and researched the media coverage and legal ramifications of Colorado’s legalization of marijuana and has come up with quite an interesting Capstone project: “to create an all-encompassing marketing plan for recreational marijuana in the state of Colorado. To elaborate upon the ‘all-encompassing’ aspect, [Erica] will include the ‘four P’s’ (product, price, place, and promotion- including advertising executions), which will ultimately answer the question of what recreational marijuana will look like as a typical consumer product.” Erica’s project “will include a hypothetical setup of a Recreational Marijuana Store, the only place where this new product will be sold, according to The Department of Revenue regulations.”
