Selection Process

Interested in Joining Phi Beta Kappa?

First, you need to be selected according to the eligibility criteria here.  If you are selected, you will receive an invitation some time in March of your Senior (or Junior) year.  The eligibility criteria is determined by your student record in MySlice.  There are a few rare circumstances in which eligibility criteria may not be stored in MySlice, and you would like to be considered for Phi Beta Kappa. The most obvious example of this situation is if you believe you meet the standing, GPA, credits, and quantitative requirements, and are fluent in a language other than English, but your language fluency is not reflected anywhere in your student record. In that case, please use the form below to let us know that you would like to be considered for Phi Beta Kappa membership.

When you receive your invitation, you will need to follow the instructions to register with the national pbk.org website as a member, and you will be invited to attend an induction ceremony and reception in May.  Please contact one of our chapter officers for questions regarding the process of joining, or the benefits of joining upon receiving your invitation.
