Interested in Policy and Progressive Change?
SU students, with the help of Weston Young, Jason Ashley, and Michelle Kincaid, are beginning a Syracuse University chapter of the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network. The RI Campus Network is a student-led think tank which works for progressive change on university campuses and in their communities. We will tackle the issues of homelessness, poverty, immigration, education, the environment, public health and more.
The SU chapter will have two main parts to it: “Centers” and “Campaigns”. Centers will be our research and advocacy side, meaning we will produce papers to publish, policy memos, and much, much more. The broader national group will help us with this, but we have incredible talent here at SU as well. The Campaigns will be our advocacy side. When our policy memos and research don’t get the job done, these people will push it through.
We are currently seeking students who may be interested in this opportunity. Please contact us for more information.
