Find Your Role in MESH

ARTThe student organization MESH (Making Expression and Scholarship Heard) is looking for motivated, kid-loving, eager students who may want to run for an E-Board position with our organization for the 2015-2016 academic year.

As an organization, MESH teaches weekly creative writing and poetry workshops to kids in the Syracuse City School District. We then take our students’ work and publish it in a biannual magazine. We also recently added a mentoring component to our program as well. We are looking to expand our E-Board for the upcoming school year in an effort to get increased help so that we can give back to our students in an even more meaningful way. The positions we are looking for, as well as a brief description of the role of each position, is below. If you have any questions, e-mail Rachel Brown-Weinstock at rmbrownw@syr.edu. Also, if you are interested in running for a position, send Rachel a brief blurb about why you are interested in running and a resume. Elections will be Friday, 4/10, at 3:30 PM. Please note that you do not have to love creative writing or poetry to be on the MESH E-Board.
