See Your Shadow on Shadow Day
On Thursday, April 25th, about 90 fifth graders from Seymour Dual Language Academy of the Syracuse City School District.
We need SU student volunteers to meet the fifth graders for breakfast at Hendricks Chapel, listen to remarks by Provost Michele Wheatley, Vice President of Community Engagement Bea Gonzalez, and Superintendent of the Syracuse City School District Jaime Alicea, then bring a couple of 5th graders to class or around campus, before meeting back up for lunch.
The entire time commitment is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
If you have classes that morning, please ask your professors and get their permission to bring some students to shadow you.
Please note, fifth graders are NOT allowed to go into labs, so if you have lab that morning, you cannot have shadows.
We cannot do this without SU Student volunteers, so please sign up and share with your networks!
