Your supervisor will receive an email, directing them to approve your hours via an online approval form:

honors.syr.edu/civic/supervisor-approval/

It is your responsibility to remind your supervisor to submit our form.  If for any reason this isn't feasible, contact Robin Berkowitz-Smith directly.

We will send you a confirmation of your hours with a status report of your civic requirement via email.

Your Civic Engagement Requirement in Degree Works will show as incomplete until you have completed the entire 50 hours of service, and all hours have supervisor approval.

Please remember that service hours must be entered on our website within one year of the date(s) of service. For example, if you volunteer on 8/1/2023 then we ask that you enter them on our website by 8/1/2024.
