Coming Back Together

Coming Back Together (CBT), Syracuse University’s triennial reunion for Black and Latino/a alumni, will be held on the Syracuse campus from Thursday, Sept. 9, through Sunday, Sept. 12. Volunteers are needed to help with more than 45 events planned throughout the weekend.

CBT will feature numerous workshops, receptions, social events and cultural activities. Highlights include the CBT Celebrity Classic Basketball Game at the stadium, CBT Concert featuring Grammy-nominated R&B trio SWV, CBT Lecture featuring actress Rita Moreno, CBT Tailgate on the Quad, Orange vs. Rutgers football game, CBT Fundraising Gala and Awards Ceremony, and a Sunday Worship Service featuring Grammy-winning gospel artist BeBe Winans and the Syracuse University Black Celestial Choral Ensemble.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend, including help with central registration, greeting guests and checking guests into events, and distributing wristbands, t-shirts and tote bags.
