All in for Camp Kesem

Sally Rubin (AS/PC ’20) is the Co-Coordinator of Alumni, Marketing & PR for Camp Kesem, a non-profit Summer Camp for children who have a parent living with cancer. “I run a committee of general body members at bi-weekly meetings and make all the social media posts for our chapter,” says Sally. “I also personally fundraised about $1,800 last semester and attended some events with families of campers.”

Being a counselor at Camp Kesem was a life-changing experience for Sally. She feels gratified to be part of a small group of leaders that actually makes that experience possible for the campers and counselors, and is inspired to look into similar organizations for career opportunities.
