Thesis Title:

DO(NATION)

This project attempts to offer itself as a critique on the exasperating rate of consumption of domestic objects. It focuses its research on donated domestic objects found in donation centres. There occurs a reevaluation on how these donated domestic objects may reengage themselves in the contemporary environment. The project shifts it focus on designing a set of logistics through which these donated domestic objects may go through. With this determined set of logistics, there starts to exist a situation of communal living that thrives on the donated domestic objects. This intentional community is DO(NATION). This project was done in collaboration with Isabella Calidonio Stechmann.
