Thesis Title:
The Optimization of NSs Expression and its Affinity for TBK1
Cancer research is a large field in the natural sciences. A novel form of cancer treatment known as OVT utilizes the properties of various viruses to generate a virus that can be used to treat cancer. One of these properties relies on a Non-structural Protein (NSs) which interrupts the beta-interferon pathway. Our research investigates the optimization of expression of the NSs gene in E. coli and how to isolate NSs after it has been produced.
