Thesis Title:

The Impact of State-Level Energy Policies on Energy Consumption Portfolios Regarding Renewable Energy Sources

Christian Pilarski

The fundamental issue analyzed in this paper is the issue of Renewable Energy Sources, their limited role in Energy Consumption Portfolios, and the effects of State-Level Energy Policies on them. The research question of this paper is "How do State-Level Energy Policies Impact State Energy Consumption Portfolios for Renewable Energy Sources?" This paper heavily utilized quantitative methodology to analyze this issue in the social sciences. The nature of the proof was statistical significance across aggregated data of states, using linear regression to determine the nature of the relationships and probability value to determine the statistical significance of the relationships.
I would like to thank all the faculty members of the Policy Studies department: Dr. Coplin, Dr. Walker, and Dr. Zwick. All three were critical parts of me being a successful student and Policy Studies major at Syracuse University. I would like to thank Dr. Zwick especially for guiding me through the process of writing this Honors Thesis.
