Thesis Title:
Moving Towards Equitable Education for Immigrant and Refugee Students

Societal rhetoric and action in the United States has demonstrated the inequity of access that immigrant and refugee students have to our country. This project explores how immigrant and refugee students access education in Syracuse, New York, a sanctuary city. The research concludes with action steps for educators to make to move towards more equitable, inclusive, and socially just education.
