Orange Seeds: The Big Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Big Event, Syracuse University\u2019s largest student-run community service event, will take place on April 11th<\/strong>. Check-in begins at 10:30 AM at Hendricks Chapel<\/strong>, and service projects will run until about 4:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will be volunteering with community organizations across Syracuse, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Hendricks Chapel
\u2022 Rescue Mission \u2013 Thrifty Shopper
\u2022 Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)
\u2022 SU Pete\u2019s Giving Garden
\u2022 Thornden Park
\u2022 YWCA
\u2022 Westcott Community Center
\u2022 Mary Nelson Youth Day Foundation
\u2022 Rosamond Gifford Zoo
\u2022 Habitat for Humanity
\u2022 McMahon Ryan Center
\u2022 The Samaritan Center
\u2022 Brady Farm
\u2022 Salvation Army<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great opportunity to earn civic engagement hours<\/strong>, get involved on campus, and give back to the Syracuse community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
