Nutrition Initiative Volunteer Opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n

The Shaw Center is providing transportation for 3 nutrition programs this semester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooking on the Hillside<\/strong> is an after school program that works with high school students to teach basic cooking skills, recipe reading, and nutritional concepts each week. Program is on Wednesday & Thursday afternoons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Books and Cooks<\/strong> creates lessons centered around a specific country and culture, accompanied by a recipe prepared with the whole group with Elementary Students. Program is on Friday afternoons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food Busters<\/strong> works with high school students to apply nutrition concepts to biomedical lessons. Each lesson will be based around a different nutrition and food science theme. Program is on Friday afternoons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
