The Office of First-Year and Transfer Programs (FYTP) at Syracuse University is currently recruiting students to volunteer as Goon Squad members during Syracuse Welcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong>
\u2022 Attend a Goon Squad Required Training on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 (time TBA).<\/strong>
\u2022 Greet new students, families and supporters and wayfinding.
\u2022 Help new students move into their residence halls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goon Squad Benefits<\/strong>
\u2022 Early move-in date of Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 <\/strong>(no exceptions).
\u2022 Receive three hours of community service per volunteer shift. These may also count toward Whitman and Honors requirements.
\u2022 Receive Goon Squad swag.
\u2022 Recruit new students for your Registered Student Organization (RSO).
\u2022 RSOs meeting the Goon Squad volunteer requirement will be invited to table at the Orange Blast Involvement Fair on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.<\/strong>
\u2022 Make a positive impact with new students, families and supporters during move-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Tuesday, Aug. 22 | 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
\u2022 Wednesday, Aug. 23 | 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
\u2022 Thursday, Aug. 24 | 8 a.m.-1 p.m.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
