The Orange Dash Charity 5K Run/3K Walk & HELP E-Board Elections
HELP, Mock Trial, and the SU Student Association are holding a 5K run/3K walk to raise funds to support the unhoused community in Central New York! The event will take place on April 27th at 12 pm, outside Schine Student Center.
Here are the instructions for registering for the Orange Dash:
- RSPV on CuseActivities
- Follow the link or scan the QR code above to pay
- Select “registration fees”
- Write in your payment ($25 is suggested, you must pay at least $20 to receive a shirt)
- For organization, type “Mock Trial”
- For event, type “Orange Dash”
- Continue and complete your payment
Free t-shirts are available for the first 100 registrations! The event is paid for by your student activities fee. For accommodation requests, please contact ltmaffei@syr.edu within one week of the event.
HELP is also certifying civic engagement hours for students who volunteer to table for the Orange Dash! You can sign up for a shift using this link.
Lastly, HELP is getting ready to host elections for their e-board next year. They have always had Honors students involved in their leadership and would love to see more Honors students getting involved in public service. If you are interested in running, you can use this link to nominate yourself for a position.
