SUVO Bed Build for Children in Need Event

Friday, February 23 2024 from 1:00PM to 4:00 PM at Skybarn on South Campus

Honors students are invited to join the bed building event for Sleep in Heavenly Peace with Syracuse University Volunteer Organization on Friday, February 23!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nonprofit organization with a mission of no child sleeping on the floor. The Syracuse University Volunteer Organization is collaborating with them to host an on-campus bed building event! 

Experts from Sleep in Heavenly Peace will assist you in building and assembling bunk beds from scratch. The beds will later be delivered to children in the greater Syracuse area currently sleeping on the floor.

Honors students who participate can earn civic hours through this event and list Claire Ceccoli and shawcenter@syr.edu as the supervisor to complete the documentation needed.
