La Casita is looking for more volunteers for their upcoming November and December events!

La Casita is hosting a community luncheon where attendees will eat delicious food, share ideas, discuss challenges, and inspire change that affects everyone.

Volunteer Tasks: assist with set-up and clean-up of event, audio recording, documentation (video and photo) of the workshop, and documenting consent.

Date & Time: Saturday Nov. 16th, 2 pm – 4 pm

Moms & Women’s Luncheon

This a monthly luncheon for the women and mothers in the community, they engage in activities and conversations completely in Spanish.

Volunteer Tasks: assist with set-up and clean-up of event, work with youth who attend the Luncheon with their parents, produce activities and games for youth (must complete Risk Management Training and Background Check). 

Date & Time: Saturday Nov. 23rd, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Fiesta de Navidad

La Casita is hosting their annual Christmas Party to celebrate the holiday season and the end of the Fall Semester. The event will include a traditional Latino Christmas menu, live music, and performances by La Casita’s youth programs. Transportation to and from campus is provided. 

Volunteer Tasks: assist with set-up and clean-up of event. serve food, assist with audio equipment. 

Date & Time: Friday Dec. 6th, 6 pm – 8 pm
