The Sustainability Management team is looking for volunteers to assist in the pantry. Opportunities are variable or long-term, depending on students’ interest and availability. Volunteers oversee the stock for the food pantry, unpack boxes, stock shelves, package produce, learn basic prep skills, and basic pantry management skills. Some heavy lifting, no sitting, ability to lift 25-30 pounds and use a knife for prepping vegetables. Food storage and food inventory will be topic during training, so this position is valuable for any students pursuing positions in hospitality, food studies, event management, and the restaurant industry. Volunteers need be available from 1-3 on Tuesdays as needed. Sustainability Management is located at the Carriage House on South Campus. For more information, visit their website.
