Access Arts SU

We are excited to announce an exciting upcoming project, Access Arts SU! Black Box Players is partnering with Syracuse University’s Disability Access and Inclusion Council to produce a cabaret and gallery night featuring art created by SU students, faculty, and staff with disabilities.

They are looking for participants to perform or submit art for the event. The sign-up link can be found here. 

The programming will consist of songs, monologues, scenes, and a visual art gallery, all centered around what it means to have a disability and the participants’ personal experiences.

To prepare for this event, there will be one rehearsal in which the participants will get to practice their pieces and receive assistance or critique upon request.

Rehearsal: October 2nd

Performance: October 9th
