 We rise above the streets, Sandwich Saturday

Partnering with the Muslim chaplaincy, we will join “We Rise Above the Streets, recovery outreach, Inc.” to prepare sack lunches our beloved homeless friends.

When: Saturday, September 29, 2018

Where: 404 Oak Street, Syracuse NY 13203

Time: 9:30am-12:30pm.

Limited space available for transportation

United Methodist Church Food Pantry

Friday Food Pantry- Welcome, support and facilitate access to Food Pantry items for our community. Unload our food truck, sort & stage foods. Hospitality area with snacks and coffee and clothing closet each need facilitating. Support CNY Diaper bank access for families. Make food delivery to Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry. Support voter registration and enrollment into Pro Literacy campaign. Spanish speaking/multi-lingual volunteers especially needed. 3.5 hr. volunteer opportunity

When: Friday, September 28, 2018

Where: United Methodist Church, 1085 E. Genesee St. Syracuse NY  13224

Time: 9:30am-12:30pm

Transportation is not provided but the connective corridor bus (Centro) takes you from campus to Syracuse Stage (across the street from the church)

Become a committed mentor to a middle or high school youth one evening a week. Help with homework, college prep, and life skills. The program will begin on Monday, October 1, 2018.
