Dr. Hall Awarded “Spirit of Service” Award  

Dr. Karen Hall, Assistant Director, Honors, is a 2022 recipient of The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) and TRIOs Student Support Services (SSS) Spirit of Service Award.  The award was established to honor extraordinary members of the Syracuse University community who have supported the efforts of HEOP and TRIOs programs. In his commendation, Craig M. Tucker, Director, HEOP/TRIO, states that “Dr. Hall’s service to and support of opportunity programs and the students served has had a tremendous positive impact on the lives of many students.” Thus, the award proclamation reads, “Recognizes the dedication and service of Karen J. Hall, a Syracuse University professional whose work throughout the academic year supports our students. The dedication and service you provide enhance both the academic and personal success of each student with whom you are connected.” A plaque with the names of award recipients is on display in the Office of Supportive Services.
